Email & Lifecycle Marketing Manager
Own the messages that turn a curious enterprise buyer into a conversation, and a new customer into a lasting one.
The Ardoq story
Ardoq is one of Norway's most exciting scale-ups, a truly global company built out of Oslo. We are the AI-powered Enterprise Architecture platform that turns enterprise complexity into connected intelligence. Built on a proprietary graph foundation, we help the world's largest organizations see how their people, processes, and technology fit together, so they can simulate change, cut risk, and make smarter decisions faster.
Today we help some of the most complex organizations on the planet, including British Telecom, M&S, Carlsberg, and ExxonMobil, find clarity in a fast-changing world. We are backed by leading global tech investors, including EQT and One Peak, which gives us the stability of a mature company with the pace and spirit of a startup. We are also a five-time Gartner Magic Quadrant Leader for Enterprise Architecture.
Why this role matters
The people we sell to, often a Head of Enterprise Architecture, are drowning in complexity. Too many systems, too much data, too many competing priorities, and rarely a clear view of the whole picture. Long before they ever speak to our sales team, they are quietly trying to work out one thing: does anyone actually understand my problem?
That answer gets built, message by message, in the emails and lifecycle communications they receive from us. This role owns that journey. You will decide what a prospect hears, when they hear it, and how each touch moves them from mild curiosity to a real conversation, then from a new customer to one who stays and grows. You are the person who makes sure our marketing sounds like it gets the customer, at every stage of their journey with Ardoq.
At Ardoq we value autonomy and psychological safety. In this role you won't follow a script. You will have the influence to shape the whole lifecycle program and the ownership to see your ideas through to real, measured impact.
What you'll do
Own the lifecycle: Design and run the email and lifecycle programs that carry prospects and customers through every stage, from acquisition nurture to onboarding, adoption, and re-engagement.
Turn insight into journeys: Build segmented, automated nurture flows in HubSpot that move buyers, particularly Heads of Enterprise Architecture, toward a sales-ready conversation. Build and support Hubspot webpage creation to assist the prospect journey.
Convert with the wider team: Partner with Demand Generation, Sales, and the BDR team so marketing and sales outreach reinforce each other rather than collide, and engaged contacts become real pipeline.
Prove and improve: Run a disciplined testing program and report on engagement, conversion, and pipeline contribution, then use what you learn to raise the bar again.
Protect the fundamentals: Keep the database healthy and deliverable, and keep every program compliant, on brand, and worth opening.
On a typical day, you will
Sit down with the demand generation team to understand which campaigns are bringing leads in, then map how those people should be nurtured next. Build or refine a segmented flow in HubSpot, checking the entry and exit logic yourself before it ships. Look at last week's open, click, and conversion numbers, spot where a sequence is losing people, and design a test to fix it. Compare notes with a BDR leader so a prospect never gets a cold outreach that contradicts the email they opened an hour earlier. And take an hour to work with Content and Product Marketing on the message itself, so it sounds like Ardoq and speaks to a real customer problem.
What we're looking for
We are looking for someone who leads with the right instincts and backs them with real craft.
How you think and work
Customer focused: You start from what the prospect and customer actually experience, and you shape journeys around that, not around internal convenience.
Action oriented: You keep programs moving when inputs shift and dependencies wobble. You prioritize the next useful step and follow through.
Candid and collaborative: You work closely with Sales, Content, and Product Marketing, and you raise data quality or priority concerns directly, in the spirit of helping the work get better.
Outcome driven: You measure success by impact on engagement, conversion, and pipeline, not by how busy a calendar looks.
What you bring
Email and nurture depth: A track record designing and running email and lifecycle programs that moved prospects through a funnel and delivered measurable results.
HubSpot craft: Hands-on fluency with HubSpot workflows, sequences, forms, landing pages, lead scoring, and lifecycle stages, ideally with the CRM integration that sits behind them.
Segmentation and testing: Real experience building segmentation and personalization, and running A/B or multivariate tests you can read for genuine signal.
Deliverability and compliance sense: A working understanding of what protects sender reputation and inbox placement, and of consent obligations under GDPR and CAN-SPAM.
An AI-first habit: You already reach for AI and automation to work faster and sharper, with judgement about where they help and where they don't.
The Ardoq Way
We live by three values, Bold, Caring, and Driven, that define how we work, how we treat each other, and how we win.
Bold: We continuously raise the bar for ourselves and each other, starting from a place of "what if I could?" We act decisively, even when the information isn't complete, and choose forward motion and learning over waiting for the perfect answer.
Caring: We care enough to be candid. That means delivering direct, kind, and timely feedback that helps our teammates grow. We operate as one team, sharing knowledge openly, celebrating each other's wins, and putting collective success ahead of individual ones.
Driven: At Ardoq, everyone has a stake in the outcome, including stock options. We act like owners, measuring success by impact rather than effort, saying "no" to distractions, and staying focused on the highest-value work at pace.
