About the Role
At Ardoq, we believe that high performance is fuelled by people and scalable efficiency. As our People Lead in Operations & Partnering, you are a force behind our operational excellence and a partner to Ardoqians and leaders. Reporting to the People Operations Director and part of a wider People Operations and Partnering teams, you will take our global people standards and plans, turning them into a high-impact execution. Whilst this role is based in Oslo it supports multiple geographies.

This is a highly independent individual contributor role that is very hands-on delivering execution excellence and you will also contribute to evolving how we work. You have the conviction to solve and scale everyday tasks, wrestle with the complex, remove ambiguity and advise up to senior stakeholders. You'll have the mindset to ensure our engine runs with efficiency and precision.
What you’ll do
Execute with Excellence: Deliver and optimize the end-to-end people operations and partnering lifecycle, ensuring processes are executed with high-quality and friction-free. This ranges from transactional tasks, payrolls and benefits mgt, the ‘shared service’ style support queries resolution & advisory.
Partnering: Act as an advisor to functional leaders & Ardoqians, providing the "on-the-ground" partnership that translates into team performance.
Feed the Future: Work closely with the People Operations Director, Partnering & CoE teams to provide data-driven insights / reporting.
Oslo Culture Lead: A key representative for the People team in Oslo, building community connectivity both ensuring our Nordic roots remain strong as we scale and as an International business.
Drive AI & Efficiency: Proactively use AI and automation to improve our impact and customer experience, from removing manual tasks from your own workflow and the wider team's, ensuring we focus on high-impact.
Who you are
We are looking for someone who can easily flex their focus by zooming in and out as required. Someone who can handle a large and varied workload and self manages to work at incredible efficiency and pace. A collaborator who balances deep domain expertise with a humble, "team-first" mindset. You enjoy being with colleagues and office attendance is typically minimum 3 days a week. You are also comfortable working for an international organisation that will sometimes require flexibility in hours that cross over with colleagues in the UK and USA.
The Operational Master: You have deep, hands-on experience with Norwegian labor law and Norwegian HR operations. You take pride in "getting it right" the first time. You roll your sleeves up and are in the machinery whilst looking where we are going.
The Senior Partner: You have business commercial understanding and gravitas to manage up to senior stakeholders. Including "Caring" candor to deliver difficult feedback when necessary.
The Problem Solver: You are highly analytical and driven to find solutions at the root. When you see a broken process, you don't just flag it; you propose and deliver the fix.
The Tech-Savvy Lead: You are AI-fluent and proactively look for ways to leverage to solve scaling challenges.
Language & HR: You are fluent in both Norwegian and English. Preferably native Norwegian and must have extensive deep understanding of Norwegian labor practices.
