Solution Specialist - North America
Reports to: Head of Sales, Northeast, NA
We are investing in our future and building an international team. Today we're looking for a Solution Specialist to join us in our New York City office. Remote option: For this position we will consider remote applicants.
In this role, you will support the Direct Sales team by guiding our prospective customers through business-focused evaluations of the Ardoq platform.
On a typical day, you will:
- Work with Account Executives and the Direct Sales team to understand prospects' needs and goals
- Build POCs and Business Cases in Ardoq based on scoping calls and requirements
- Aid in modeling and deliverable creation in Ardoq, according to best practices
- Answer prospective clients' technical questions and facilitate customized demos in Ardoq, guiding them on how Ardoq will support their use-cases and achieve their desired value
- Manage a personal demo environment, incorporating company artifacts and use case bundles from an internal team (Team Amplify) with your own assets, to be used in custom demos and POCs
- Be a technical resource on prospect calls, explaining Ardoq's strengths and limitations
- Collaborate with Professional Services and Customer Success teams to ensure Customer's smooth transition from evaluation to implementation
- Guide strategic direction of solution specialist function to support growth in North American Market
We imagine you will bring:
- 5+ years full-time experience (in EA, data analytics/ BI, digital transformation is appreciated)
- Experience running evaluations for a given region, and working with Account Executives
- Experience in technical communication to CIOs, CTOs, and IT stakeholders
- Experience working with post-sales and professional services teams, developing shared action plans for platform evaluations and for transitioning new customers to successful implementations.
- Demonstrated understanding of main digital business transformation concepts, including cloud readiness assessment and migration experience, post-M&A system integrations, functional business processes tied to technical requirements
- Awareness of the business software vendor landscape, preferable to have hands-on experience. Examples include SAP, Oracle, Salesforce, Tableau, AWS, or Azure
- Understanding of application categories - CRM, ERP, middleware (Tibco, Informatica), reporting (Data Lake/EDW)
- A desire to keep learning and adjust your approach to solve complex issues
