Deal Desk Specialist
We are investing in our future and building an international team. Today we're looking for a Deal Desk Specialist to join us in our Oslo office.
You will have a full overview of the sales and renewal process and be on top of and manage improvement areas. You will be the direct contact for all deal-related approval processes.
Reports to: Legal/Director of RevOps

On a typical day, you will:
- Further improve up the proposal and contracting tools, such as our ticketing system, Pandadoc, and potential new tools, and set up the tools in the best possible way to ensure smooth collaboration between the different teams
- Further develop our deal support processes (proposals, contracts, escalations, and approvals)
- Implement agreement templates (after they are finally drafted by legal) in our tools
- Assist in interpreting contractual language and escalate to ensure deals comply with revenue recognition and operational policies
- Support commercial team with training and daily handling/structuring of the documents and make them ready for signature
- Collaborate with impacted parties (legal, security, finance, sales, customer success, professional services) to identify acceptable options to facilitate deal closure
- Deliver relevant training to our commercial people on deal desk, order processes, and overall best practices. Potentially aligning with Learning Specialists based on priority
- Be an escalation point for non-standard terms and coordinate approvals or propose alternatives to help move deals forward with support from commercial supporting teams such as Legal and Security
- Perform analysis on deal desk efficiency and provide related reports to share with stakeholders
We imagine you will bring:
- 3+ years of experience in a related deal desk, bid, contracts, or revenue accounting role
- Written and oral communication skills in English
- Experience supporting sales-focused teams
- Experience creating and structuring processes to help commercial teams to succeed
